I want to tell the world
← return to main pageI continue to be frustrated at my difficulty telling the world about The CoolerRuler. I’ve been using it for so many years and have seen so many people take off with their reading once they are using it, but without an advertising budget it’s so hard to get noticed. Anyone got any ideas?

How lovely to hear from you. How are things with Snivel And Shriek?
Thank you for your suggestion, I hadn't thought of small, independent stationers and I will see what I can do about a point of sale display. There's more research on the way, and I hope we will be able to get some national press publicity this term.
We shall see how it goes.

Hi Sally this is the best product we've had and it helps my 7 yr old read confidently she was very self consious about reading aloud but with the discreet ruler she tries her best and joins in with lessons much more oftern. A massive thankyou from us both. I tell everyone about the cooler ruler.
Thanks again Jo

We were recently featured in the TES: "At first glance, CoolerRuler is just one of those 30cm transparent plastic classroom rulers. But stop, look more closely: this is also a deceptively simple and unobtrusive aid for children who struggle with reading and need to break words down..."

Hi Sally,
Remember us at Snivel And Shriek?!
We met at Special Needs London (we were neighbouring stands!)
I just thought I'd pop by your site and have a look at the latest developments at Ruler Reading! I'm pleased to see that the results of your recent study support your firm belief in and passion for the CoolerRuler!
Now, in response to your post about marketing ideas, it's just a thought but it seems to me that it's parents that need to be hearing about the CoolerRuler! I have many fond memories of shopping trips with my mother in the weeks leading up to a new term at school when she would treat me to a new pencil case, pens, pencils, a novelty eraser and sharpener and, of course, a ruler! I was always thrilled! Indeed, appealing to parents by offering the CoolerRuler to stockists and trying to get your own little Point Of Sale display in a few smaller shops, might be a really good way to help spread the word! Just a thought! Good luck, whatever you do! All the very best, Kate
